    11 New private universities receive approval from Tinubu

    • President Tinubu has approved temporary permits for 11 private universities.

    • Tinubu said he is committed to expanding the boundaries of educational opportunities and infrastructure.

    • The approval was awarded during the Federal Executive Committee (FEC).

    Nigeria’s president Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved 11 new universities, triggering a nationwide response.

    11 new universities signed up at an event held during the Federal Executive Committee meeting in Abuja on Monday, March 3, 2025, which passed the standard educational test.

    • Isaac Balami Aviation and Management University Lagos State University.
