    • Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike vowed to ensure Atiku Abubakar failed his presidential bid again.

    • Wick’s statement comes after Atiku revealed that he has no regrets about his running partner in the 2023 presidential election.

The rift between Atiku and Wike dates back to the 2022 PDP primary, and Wike is expected to be compensated through the Vice President slot.

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike announced that he would secure the defeat of former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

This statement comes after Atiku revealed that he felt “no regrets” about not choosing Wike as his campaign partner for the 2023 presidential election.

Atiku explained in an interview that he deliberately left the decision to the PDP, which set up a committee to recommend three names.

The committee ranked Ifeanyi Okowa the highest, Wike ranked second and Udom Emmanuel ranked third. “So I chose the first place,” Atiku said.
