The aspiring man for the former president, Chief Dele Momodu, has identified former President Goodluck Jonathan as the only candidate who can match President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
However, he added that Jonathan likely doesn’t want to be involved in such political activities again.
according to Chief MomoduJonathan has shown his achievements so far and showed satisfaction because he never dreamed of achieving such political heights.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief added that the only Tinubu and his camp feared to participate in the 2027 election was former vice president Atiku Aboubacarwhich is why they have been attacking him politically in order to sell him before the polls.
Naija News Momodu made the comment in an interview with New Telegram, reporting on the current political landscape in Nigeria and expectations for the 2027 general election.
He said “For example, a southern candidate can’t accept Tinubu except for a lucky Jonathan. But I doubt he wants to emphasize himself.
“He is not that kind of person; you can see that he is a satisfied person, he is an intellectual, and he believes that even where he goes, he never expected to reach this level. So, this is probably the only person he is afraid of. The only person they are, which is why they have sold him in advance, is Atiku Abubakar.”
