Senate President Godswill Akpabio expressed optimism that all Progressive Conferences (APCs) will successfully regain control of Kano State in the 2027 election.

Naija News Know Akpabio said efforts from famous parties such as Senator Basheer Lado, Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin and APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje will win.

Akpabio highlighted the strong position of APC in the upcoming elections in a statement Thursday, saying:Before 2027, we are confident with Senator Balau, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje and your strategic self-confidence, Kano is already in the kitten of APC. ”

Akpabio also spoke about recent rumors about sensitive information leaks between the president and the Senate while serving as a special counsel on Senate affairs while serving as a president and the Senate.

He strongly denied the allegations, praising Rado’s performance as a model.

“Let me record in the record situation, we have not had a leak of private communication between the president and the Senate since Senate served as the special counsel for President Bra Tinub, of the National Assembly (Senate Affairs),” Akpabio said.

“We have not had any leaks. In government, that’s what we call the right to know. Of course, doing government business in government business through information leakage in newspapers and social media is negatively affected by national security.”

Akpabio continued to thank Lado for promoting smooth communication between the executive and legislative departments, further commending his contribution to strengthening the synergy between the two weapons of the government.

“You have been doing in the office in the past eight months like never before, making the synergy between the executive and the legislature stronger and rewarding for everyone’s benefit,” Akpabio added.

Senator Lado expressed gratitude to Akpabio’s leadership in response, highlighting the crucial role the Senate president plays in advancing the president’s agenda.

“Mr. Senate Chairman, your presence here is not only a symbol of harmony between the executive and the legislature. This proves the power of solidarity, the power of a shared vision, and the infinite possibilities of leadership anchored in service,” said as he said.

He went on to praise Akpabio as a “reliable ally” and “politicians” who understand the importance of collaboration in governance.
