A 23-year-old student (NSUK) from Nasarawa State University (NSUK) was identified as Jatau Shebah Rilokwah, apparently committed suicide in the university’s senior staff dormitory.
The discovery was conducted on April 27, 2025 by Emmanuel Gyawo, the university’s security officer, directed by Professor Shedrack Jatau to inspect his son, security analyst Zagazola Makama.
Upon arriving at the residence, Gyawo finds Rilokwah hanging from the ceiling.
According to reports, Professor Jia Jiu was informed of the incident at the State University.
A team of police detectives led by Angwan Lambu’s Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) was sent to the scene.
There were no signs of violence in the body, and no suicide was found. Rilokwah was taken to Keffi’s Federal Medical Center (FMC), where he was confirmed by a D3AD by a doctor.
His body has been stored in a hospital morgue.
Police sources said an investigation is being conducted to determine what is happening around the incident.
