    • Juliet, a 28-year-old woman from Ajah, Lagos, was beaten to death after she smashed the windscreen of a man’s car during an argument.
    • The man reportedly called local boys who tied her up and attacked her in an unfinished building until she fell into a coma.
    • She was confirmed dead before rescuers arrived. The police have arrested three suspects, including the man’s wife, and handed over the case to Pandey SCID for investigation.

A 28-year-old Joliet woman died after a heated argument turned violent in Ajah area of Lagos State.

According to Punch , Juliette got into an altercation with an unidentified man on Monday and reportedly broke the windshield of his car during the argument. Enraged by the act, the man allegedly summoned some local boys who attacked her and tied her up. Witnesses said she was taken to an unfinished building where she was brutally beaten until she passed out.

Efforts to rescue her came too late – by the time she was found and rushed to medical attention, she was already dead.

One resident who spoke of the incident called it an “unnecessary tragedy” and stressed that while Juliette’s actions in damaging the car may have been wrong, her death was completely unjustified. The source added that such situations should be reported to the police rather than taking the law into their own hands.

Another local security source said Juliet may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time, which could have escalated the situation.

Police officers allegedly rushed to the scene shortly after the incident. Three suspects, including the man’s wife, were arrested on suspicion of the attack. The case has been handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Pandey, for further investigation.

Lagos State Police Spokesperson, Abibola Adebisi, confirmed the development, saying the matter was under active investigation.
