Nollywood actress and media personality, Omotunde Adebowale-David, also known as Lolo 1, revealed that she was R@Ped from a male colleague in the broadcasting industry six years ago.
My work says media personality makes claims on her podcast. While Lolo doesn’t name the attacker, doing so now will only lead people to criticizing her for not speaking out loud when it happened six years ago, but waiting for the person to build in the industry.
The actress said the attack six years later still traumatized her, noting that she was in a moment of panic whenever she saw the attacker. What she said happened “every other day.”
“I almost never said that, I’m not even ready to tell a story. Sexu@l attacks the story. When I discussed with my daughter yesterday, she held my hand and said, “Mom, you’ve been through a lot.” ”I said I have.
I remember how many things I had to relive. I only have r@ped once in my life, and a colleague r@ped me. I see him every other day. Do you know how traumatized I am? When I saw him, I just fell into this temporary panic.
But if my talent was named him, he was a mature man in the broadcasting industry, people wouldn’t say, “Until now, I haven’t talked about it all so far, and he’s playing an outstanding TV position?”
Lolo added that women often respond to Sexu@L Ass@Ult after denial and self-name, highlighting the complexity of trauma and recovery.
