An 18-year-old in India made history by securing a record of the faces of the most furry people in the Guinness world.
Lalit Patidar has more than 95% of his face covered in his hair due to a rare obesity state or “werewolf syndrome.”
Despite facing his classmates’ gaze as a kid, a teenager from the central central region told Guinness World Records that he embraced his uniqueness and now shares his daily life on his YouTube channel.
Recently, the teenager went to Milan to make a Lo Show dei record, and his record was officially confirmed.
“Lalit is one of only 50 recorded cases reported worldwide since the Middle Ages, making him one of a billion people,” Guinness World Records said on its website.
“Very few people treat me badly. Most people treat me well. It depends on the person. The first day of school is not very good because other kids are afraid of me, but when they know me, they realize I am not much different from them,” Lalit said.
After receiving the title, he said, “I’m speechless. I don’t know what to say because I’m glad to get this recognition.”

While some people urged him to remove facial hair, he replied confidently that he liked himself.
“I like how I look, I don’t want to change my appearance,” he said.
