The 43-year-old famous musician described Tiwa Savage as a reliable and gifted presence in the music industry.
Craig David hints at his intention to work with Savage in the latest discussion on the Capital Xtra podcast, under the title “Commitment.”
He mentioned that when he asked potential collaborators with the team, he completed 70% of his songs, and they jointly recommended Tiwa Savage.
“I’ve been a big fan of Tiwa for years. She’s been overwhelming it for so long when it comes to Afrobeats. Not only is she consistent; she’s also an amazing singer,” he said.
“We’re all in the studio, brainstorming, and somebody said, ‘Where is tiwa savage?’ I was like, ‘Where is tiwa? That’s a good idea! So we contacted her, not knowing if she was interested or if we would be ignored. But she came back politely.
“She said, ‘Even if the song isn’t that good, I’ll still jump on it.’ That’s when I know it’s love. She was on track and next you know, we had this amazing song that blended our world perfectly.
“It’s going from fire emoji to voice notes. How does her ad hit? It’s the next level. We’re both mad.”
David says Tiwa Savage is “Everything I can imagine, more” Have a meeting.
“The first time I saw her was everything I imagined. She was so polite, and her talent was so crazy. She was like, “Yes, this is a good thing,” I thought, ‘No, you’re a good thing!'” He added.
