
Donatus Ndubuisi, a 29-year-old student in the State of Science and Technology (ESUT), was brutally slapped by Fulani Herdsmen of Amofia Umuhu Eha-Muhu in Enugu State.
Ndubuisi, the only child of the widow’s mother, was buried on Friday, March 7, 2025.
The funeral ceremony is marked by tears and pain.
According to the gathering, the deceased was shot and was assisted by his mother to harvest cassava on the farm.
The solar technician is said to have gone to the capital of Enugu State where he is studying to meet his mother.
When he returned home on the day of the day, he found that his mother went to the farm settlement farm to harvest cassava, Ndubuisi, known as “ofunwa” (with only one child) decided to go to the farm to help her.
While working on the farm, they were ambushed by Fulani Herdsmen, and they and k! lled ndubuisi.
What is further collected is that his father was also murdered by Fulani herders in the community.
Community leader Samuel Ede confirmed the incident and told Saharareporter that the murder of promising young people was the peak of the massacre in Eha-Amufu since 2021.
“The boy Donatus Ndubuisi was studying here in Enugu and was also a solar technician. So he went to his village Amofia Umuhu Eha-Amufu. Upon arrival, he found that his mother went to the farm to harvest cassava. So he decided to go to the farm to help his mother harvest cassava. When some Fulani herders invaded the place, he was harvesting cassava with his mother,” he said.
“So they started running and shot him and then k! Unfortunately, the boy was the only son of the widow and the only child. His father had D!ed, from the message, his father was also K of the same Fulani herder in the community!
According to the gathering, the killing of Ndubuisi led to a heartbreaking protest in Eha-Amufu on Thursday as thousands of women from seven autonomous communities took to the streets to condemn Fulani Herdsmen’s K!
