    Here are the players announced by Eric Chelle who represent Nigeria in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which will begin in March 2025.

    Nigeria’s Super Hawks seem to be eyeing to qualify for the 2026 World Cup as new head coach Eric Chelle confirmed his roster ahead of the March 2025 qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

    The initial roster of 30 men submitted by Eric Chelle and announced by NFF will be trimmed into a 23-man roster in the coming days. Maduka Okoye has disappeared after he was on par with Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa in an ongoing investigation in Serie A.

    Eric Chelle adopts a balance of family and international players, which shows that the head coach has been paying close attention to the players and focusing on building a squad that can compete in the biggest stages.
