The gunman kidnapped at least nine surveyors in Ondo State.
Surveyors were ambushed by armed gunmen who lurked in the bush on the Ilu-Abo axis in the local council district in the northern Akurey of the state.
The kidnappers contacted some of the victims’ families and demanded a $100 million release, but later reduced the ransom to 50 million guilds.
