
Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, brought her sexual harassment case against Senate President Godswill Akpabio to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
She filed the case at an IPU meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Tuesday, March 11.
Akpoti-Uduaghan accused Akpabio of making sexual progress on her. The allegation was previously an outbreak of Akpoti-uduaghan on Akpabio tHis seat arrangements in the Senate.

At the IPU meeting, Akpoti-uduaghan said she was seeking justice and intervention from international democratic institutions, which she believed was an “illegal suspension” by the Nigerian Senate.
