A spokesman for Nasarawa State Police Commander SP Ramhan Nansel confirmed the incident in a statement Tuesday, saying six people were keded in the attack.

“Sadly, six bodies were found and identified as Simeon Madaki, Ayawu Senior, Wa’azu, Vincent Sunday, Taimako Senifor and Filibus Jatau Mai’anganga. Some houses, shops, motorcycles and a car were also destroyed during the attack.
“To ensure law and order, the area has strengthened the area with personnel from the mobile police at 69 PMF Toto, as well as other police agents and military currently patrolling nearby.”
