
Agents from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Department and infamous kidnapper Dogo Saleh have been terrorizing residents and travelers.
The headquarters spokesman SP Josephine Adeh announced the development in a statement Wednesday, March 12, 2025, saying the wanted robber is K! lled, previously a fierce anti-Kidnapping operation aimed at dismantling violent crimes along Kaduna-Lokoja-Enugu Highway and within the FCT.
PPRO assured residents that the commander remains committed to eliminating the threat to public safety of FCT and neighboring countries.
“In a well-coordinated intelligence-led operation, FCT police agents and the infamous robber Salisu Mohammed, aliased, aliased “Dogo Saleh”, followed by a fierce anti-Kidnapping operation aimed at dismantling a joint crime that caused violent crimes along Kaduna-Lokoja-enugu Highway and in Fct along Kaduna-Lokoja-enugu High.
“On March 3, 2025, reliable intelligence was taken involving moving the bandits toward the FCT, and the head of the anti-kidnapping force caused the operator to block their access route.
“After a little stalking, agents successfully intercepted and arrested Salisu Mohammed at Gidan Abe Forest on his way to the FCT Bwari Area Council.”
Salisu Mohammed, a 21-year-old man from Baban Saural Village in Chiken Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was identified as the notorious killer of the robber leader who operates in Rijana Forest, Kaduna State.
He carried out terrorist attacks along communities on major highways, kidnapped unsuspecting victims and ransom money.
During the operation, he tried to escape capture, abandoning his property, including an AK-49 rifle with two magazines, 60 rounds, 7.62 mm live ammunition and N3,000,000 cash proceeds in previous kidnapping cases.
FCT PPRO further stated that the investigation showed that the gangsters were directly involved in several high-profile kidnappings and killings, including, Kyauta Village, Chikun LGA (two years ago), two of whom, including a security officer, were later kidnapped and later killed a ransom worth millions of naira after the ransom.

Ransom collected: millions of naira. Village near Kaduna Refinery (a year ago) – Two men were kidnapped. Ransom collected: millions of naira. Chikun LGA Karuga Village (a year ago) – One kidnapped. Ransom collected: millions of naira. Chikun LGA Bagado Village (11 months ago) – Ransom collected: millions of naira. Dan-Bushiya Village (two years ago) – Ransom collected: millions of naira. Kidnapping a woman and her two children in police dormitory in Baban Saural, Chikun LGA – Police officer and her children are imprisoned. Security outpost attack at Kujama Market, Kuduna (January 5, 2025) – Two security personnel were killed and guns were stolen.
“Salisu Mohammed and his gang were actively involved in the kidnapping of motorists along the Lokoja-Enugu highway. Under his gang leaders, Kanaboro and Saleh and Abubakar, they recently kidnapped a young tribe leader and others to collect ransoms before being released.
“Leadership: Boka – Commander-in-Chief (now deceased), Sharmi (unknown last name) – Deputy Agent, Dogo Isa – Assistant (now deceased), Gudan – Assistant. Each of them runs a sub-training camp in the forest.
“Contact with terrorists: The gang is loyal to Dogo Gide and works with the Ansaru terrorist group’s weapons and ammunition supply.
“On March 4, 2025, at about 11:14 pm, using intelligence provided by the arrested suspect, agents launched a high-risk follow-up to dismantle his gang. The suspect brought anti-kidnapping troops to Kwasau Forest, Kagarko Lga, Kaduna State, Kaduna State, Kaduna State, Kaduna State, his gang, an Abdu Musa sable Musa, Alias a kanabar’Kanabar”Kanabar”Kanabar”
“After arriving, the police team was ambushed by armed bandits who tried to release the suspect. The agents quickly engaged in a fierce gunfight with the criminals, showing outstanding tactical expertise and resilience. Eventually, the bandits were overwhelmed and forced to escape into the forest with serious gunshot wounds. The suspect suffered fatal gunshot wounds from his own gang during the fire exchange. He was taken to Kubwa General Hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

“The bandits’ hiding place has been successfully deported. An official, an inspector of the FCT anti-killing unit, suffered minor injuries and has since been treated and discharged. No other casualties have been recorded,” the PPRO noted.
ADEH said FCT Command Commissioner CP Olatunji Disu praised the heroism, professionalism and tactical efficiency of the officials involved in the operation.
The CP assured residents that action is underway to track and arrest flee gang members and to remove all criminal networks operated within the area.
He further reiterated the command’s strong commitment to the maintenance of life and property, urged citizens to remain vigilant and support law enforcement by providing timely and feasible intelligence.
