Tinubu appoints new Nabteb registrar, others
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of Mohammed Mohammed Aminu as the new registered officer and CEO of the National Business and Technical Examinations Commission.
Special Adviser Special Adviser included this in a statement on Tuesday’s information and strategy in Abuja.
According to the statement, Aminu Automotive Technology and Masters with PhD have 28 years of teaching, management, research and policy-making experience in procurement and supply chain management.
“Before his appointment, he served as procurement director at the Naseni National Science and Engineering Infrastructure Agency.
“Dr. Aminu is a strong advocate of vocational education, skills development and youth competence, and has published research on innovative teaching methods and poverty alleviation,” the statement said.
President Tinubu urged him to provide transformational leadership at Nabteb to enhance the certification of skilled human resources that are crucial to Nigeria’s industrial growth.
Similarly, the President appointed Idris Olorunnimbe as Chairman of the UBEC Committee on Universal Basic Education.
Rasaq Olajuwon was appointed Deputy Executive Secretary (Technology) of UBEC, while Tunde Ajibulu will serve as Deputy Executive Secretary (Services).
A presidential spokesman noted that Olorunnimbe has many years of experience in innovative leadership and commitment.
“As the group CEO of Temple Company, which he founded in 2016, he spans transformative programs in education, entertainment and sports.
He added: “He previously served on the board of the Lagos State Employment Trust (LSETF), where he served as chairman of the stakeholder and governance committee, promoting influential youth employment and entrepreneur programs.”
