Units of the 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army rescued two kidnapped victims in the suburbs of Josho Village in the Daffo District, Bokos Local Government Area, Plateau State, during operation haven.
The operation was conducted at around 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, after reliable intelligence was provided on the location of the victim.
After seeing the troops, the kidnapper gave up his captives and fled to the bushes.
The search for their hideout led to the rescue of two female victims identified as 11-year-old Nanbam Adamu and Dorcas Wantu, both from Mbor village in the Mushere district of Bokkos.
The victim was reported and handed over to Uncle Mr. Caleb Mantau to reunite with his family.
Meanwhile, the troops have begun a follow-up operation to track and neutralize fleeing kidnappers.
