National leaders of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) support former Kaduna Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, who has allegations against all Progressive Assembly (APC).

Naija News El-Rufai, who recently defected to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), accused the APC of planning a crisis within the opposition, a statement that has sparked reactions among political stakeholders.

However, faction NNPP state secretary, Okini Sunday El-Rufai’s allegations were dismissed Thursday.

In response, NNPP’s national propaganda secretary Oladipo Johnson, who stayed away from the party with Oginni, said he had been fired and did not represent the NNPP.

“Oginni and his cohort are not members of the party and do not constitute a practical or legal faction. They do not have the right to speak on behalf of the NNPP,” Johnson said.

Johnson acknowledged that the allegations might make sense, citing the doctor’s actions. Boniface AniebonamThe leading former NNPP member, he described as an impostor.

“Indeed, former Kaduna Governor El-Rufai said that the predecessors of these impostors were clearly the case. In court cases involving Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the traitors publicly supported the APC and did the same during the emirate quarrels and local government elections.

“In supporting the APC’s position on our party, and even making news statements in this regard, it is natural for anyone to think that these people are not NNPP members, but APC’s apologists or secret agents.

“But, of course, they are not members of us, the public, especially the media, should recognize this fact by cross-checking our position on our position.

“We do agree, however, that it is logical and seem convincing that the public thinks they are executing the script of the paying host. So, to some extent, it is indeed true that on a faceless Oginni Sunday, the latest false claims, which is El-Rufai’s assertion that some evil hands are behind the evil activities of these impostors,” Johnson added.

The NNPP reiterated that Oginni and others were deported Sunday after due process and that various court rulings have upheld their dismissal.
