A woman abandoned after witchcraft charges graduated from the National Diploma in Mass Communication.
Uduak was rescued by Danish aid Anja Ringgren Loven, who lives in Akwa Ibom.
Anja provided the latest news about the girl, while also announcing her birthday.
Anya wrote: “Twelve years ago, I was my first rescue mission in Nigeria.
“It’s been a warm day and I’m so eager to learn and understand why the kids are accused of becoming witches.
“We drove for a few hours to a local village looking for a young girl who was accused of being a witch and abandoned.
“While searching for that girl, she suddenly ran towards me. She stepped barefoot in a striped dress of blue and white.
“This is the day we rescued Uduak and if you meet her she will show up with my first daughter because she is the first girl I rescued.
“It’s not a secret that Uduke has a very special place in my heart. She has been under my wings for 12 years.
“This year, she graduated and received her national diploma in mass communication.
“I have seen Uduak grow and embrace her strengths.
“Today, we celebrate the brilliant, powerful and beautiful young woman she became.
“Happy birthday, my first daughter. I love you forever.”
After accusations of witchcraft in the South-South region, Anja rescued and re-collected many children.
