Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich has decided to sign a four-year contract extension with the Bavarians, which will keep him in the club until 2029.
The German international initially expired at the end of the 2025/26 season because he had a lot of connections with moving to Arsenal. Joshua Kimmich has been an important part of Bayern Munich since Vincnet Kompany joined the club early this season.
“At FC Bayern, I have the best environment to achieve my sporting goals. That’s my decision. For me, at the moment, there are no better teammates, coaches and club environments to achieve the greatest success. I feel at home here. I’m not done yet.”
Kimmich is the club’s newest player, crediting his future to Bayern Munich this year, while Manuel Neuer, Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies have also extended their accommodation.
Bayern is the number one in the Bundesliga before defending champion Bayer Leverkusen, who will face Inter in the Champions League quarter-finals, hoping they will play in the final in Munich in May.
