Operation Nigerian Army’s Force Haven arrested a notorious gunman.
The suspect was identified as Sengi David, a 21-year-old arrested on Bokkos-Bot-Mangu Road in the Bokos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Media Information Official Major Zhakom confirmed the arrest in a statement issued Thursday, March 13, saying the troops also neutralized two people and were suspected of kidnapping in the southern local government of Joss.

On March 12, 2025, the troops carried out an offensive operation as part of the ongoing operation Lafiyan Jama’a to remove criminals near Kuru and Turu around the Jos South Local Government Area (LGA) in Plateau State,”
“In operation, the troops contacted the kidnappers/terrorists in the close range of Kuru Heights and neutralized 2 criminals who had 18 rounds of 7.62mm (special) (special) and 9 rounds of 5.56 x 45mm ammunition.
“In addition, on March 12, 2025, the 3rd Division/Operation Haven forces conducted an operation Lafiyan Jama’a riding a snapshot checkpoint along Bokkos LGA’s Bokkos LGA.
“The operation was followed by credible intelligence from the weapons and ammunition movement in the region. During the operation, the troops intercepted a notorious gunman, identified as 21-year-old Mr. Sengi David, from the village of Kopal, Mangu LGA, Plateau State, with an AK-47 magazine and 48 rounds of 7.62 mm (special) ammunition.

“The suspect and recovered items are under investigation in custody.
“The 3rd Division and the troops of Operation Haven will remain firm in the performance of their duties, and we recommend that the public continue to provide useful and credible information to assist the operations of the troops.”
