The Jigava State Police Department has investigated the M8rder of Almajiri, 14, of the state’s Guevaram local government.
The body of the victim was identified as Bashir Adamu and was found in the village of Jikas-Dabaja in Guevaram Local Government Area.
His body was found to have been removed and his private parts were removed.
The headquarters spokesman SP Shi’isu Adam confirmed the incident in a statement Friday, March 14, 2025, saying the teenager was ked by suspicious ritualist.
The PPRO said relatives identified the victim and informed police that he had been missing for two days before the grim discovery was discovered.
“Police suspects that the boy was M8RDER for ritual purposes. We are working to track the perpetrators,” Adam said.
He assured the public that the headquarters would thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
