The horror footage shows the moment a crocodile comes out of the river, a woman drags her chin underwater, drags her underwater and drags it to @th, while friends try to save her.
Tarti Kolengsu, 43, collected spinach from the Air Biak River in Indonesia with her friends while locking her legs on Wednesday, March 12.
The scared mother screamed for help during the attack, waving her arms as she fought desperately to keep the water surface
She grabbed her friend’s hand and they tried to pull her back to the river bank, but the animals pulled her from their grasp.
Her friends managed to escape and run to their village to raise the alarm, but Tarti, who arrived at the scene with rescuers and local residents, was tare@d in the reptile’s chin.
Video shows the crocodile appear to be swimming near the land while holding the woman’s inanimate body.
It continued to circumnavigate the river, and the long hair of the woman flowed under the water as people screamed and shouted in horror.
Two hours after the crocodile released her, the locals could only collect her body.
The local police chief reportedly said in a statement: “The victim and her three friends chose spinach on the other side of the river.
“A hour later, when she suddenly shouted, they crossed the water and went home.
“She screamed, ‘Help me, I’m in danger!” At the time, she was behind the group, drowned in the middle of the river.
“One of her friends, Wati, tried to pull the victim to the river, but she let go because she was afraid of drowning.
“After searching for more than two hours, the victim was found dead. She was taken home for a funeral.
“Nanburu police will convene local governments and relevant agencies to discuss the mitigation work.
“Hopefully, there will be no deaths caused by crocodile in the future.”
