A newlywed couple Dozie and Joan Okoye died in a gasoline explosion along the Ottora Bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
Gathered together, the couple got married on February 22, 2025.
Dozie and Joan were reportedly on their way home when their phone lines suddenly became accessible.
Their burnt remains were finally found Wednesday night after searching for them at the Burns Center in Gabada and Yaba Mortuary.
The only logo is the registration number of their car, which was found in a burning vehicle.
The explosion occurred at 8:08 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 and was caused by 30 tons of refueling products, which are said to be owned by nearby gas stations.
The explosion severely affected the torsional dental clinic, while generator houses and safety stations in nearby church buildings suffered significant damage.
The responders recovered four burnt bodies, including the auto mechanic identified as Rotimi Adeleye.
