Nnamdi Kanu's trial will resume on March 21, with the identity of the new judge revealed

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Biafra Indigenous Peoples (IPOB), will appear in court this month.

In the treason trial of the new judge of the Federal High Court of Abuja against self-challenging leaders was sentenced to the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was assigned to a hearing on March 21, which has confirmed the case.

The hearing notice has been issued and sent to the parties to the case.

Aloy Ejimakor, Kanu’s chief legal counsel, said the legal team was ready and ready. He also confirmed that Judge James Omotosho is the new judge in charge of the trial.

Ejimakor said: “It is now officially that Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will appear in court on March 21, 2025. This is a milestone. We are ready and ready.

“He will appear in court in the Supreme Court Justice James Omotosho.

“The case will start like something new that has never been seen before. From 2015, he was arrested until his last appearance at Justice Binta Nyako

“He would be re-elected on charges we’ve never seen before and we can mention that we received a hearing notice but did not send us the charges.

“We really don’t know the allegations we face on March 24. The government has a trick that they will serve you the day before the hearing so that you don’t have time to research the allegations.

“Sometimes they serve you and you will be in court, but the charges were originally in the court registration form and we cannot start asking the court to give us a copy.”

Case files and other necessary documents were also collected that have been transferred to the Omotosho Court, paving the way for the issuance of the hearing notice.

Unless any unforeseen circumstances, Kanu is expected to be reclaimed for the remaining seven of the federal government’s prejudice against him.
