Ijaw People asks Tinubu to fire Wike if she wants to win in 2027

Ijaw People asks President Tinubu to fire Wike if he wants to win in 2027.

Nigeria News Nalin The report said that the political group Tinubu Ijaws called on Nyesom Wike to be fired immediately as FCT minister in remarks about the Ijaw people.

The Nigerian news platform learned that the group’s leader, Tamuno Esiri, made the request in a statement on Friday in Port Harcourt.

“Tinubu’s Ijaws demanded an immediate evacuation of Wike in 2027, and he deserves it if President Tinubu decides to secure a second term,” Mr Esiri said.

Mr. Wick allegedly referred to the Iya people as minorities in the Niger Delta in an interview with reporters on the river political crisis.

Mr Esiri condemned Mr Wike’s claims, insisting that the Ijaws are one of the major ethnic groups in the region.

He claimed that if not selected, Mr. Vick’s remarks could hurt President Bora Tinubu’s chance of re-election in 2027.

“We believe that Vick deliberately undermined the president’s support among the majority IJAW population in the Niger Delta.

“We believe that Wick’s presence in President Tinob’s cabinet poses a threat to democracy and peace in the Niger Delta,” he said.

Mr Esiri also urged Mr Tinubu to be cited by the introduction of alleged involvement in the political crisis of the river and the insults he claimed were targeting respected elders and political leaders across the country.

He advised the president not to believe that Mr. Vick could still deliver the river in the 2027 election.

“President Tinob should point out that Vick has lost his political goodwill in the 2023 elections as the vast majority of the river people lag firmly behind Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

He added: “Any political interest that believes that the FCT minister can win the River State election in 2027 should be reconsidered.”

Mr Esiri also criticized the House of Parliament led by Martins Amaewhule, and the alleged bill could further undermine the political landscape in the state.

He sent a 14-day final pass for lawmakers by allowing Mr. Fubara to re-introduce the Appropriations Bill for 2025.

“Lawmakers must immediately avoid launching self-service and anti-river state bills or they should be prepared to be recalled by voters.

“If lawmakers fail to promote peace, we will work with all the goodwill groups and rivers that support Governor Fobara and President Tinob to initiate their recall procedures.

Mr Esiri concluded: “Ijaws in Tinubu 2027 demanded the full liberation of the river state.”
