A 31-year-old Indian accountant Vanapalli Chandra Kishore in K! LING’s two sons (six and seven) committed suicide afterwards and their academic performance was poor.
Kishore left a suicide note pointing out that he realized that his two children were in kindergarten (UKG) and I, performing academically and would have difficulty building their abilities in a competitive world.
The horrible incident occurred on Friday night, March 14, 2025 in Ramanayyapet, Kakinada town, Andhra Pradesh.
Sarpavaram Police Inspector B Peddi Raju said Kishore had worked as an assistant in the office of ONGC, a petroleum company in Kakinada.
“He killed two sons by tying his hands and legs and submerging them in two buckets of water. The family is financially stable, so his behavior is surprising.”
Kishore married Tanuja Sai Rani in 2017, and the couple has two sons, Joshith (7) and Nikhil (6), who are studying at a nearby private school.
Their neighbors said they found the couple to be normal and friendly. As children perform poorly in school, parents have decided to transfer them from the new school year to a better school and ask.
Since Friday is Holi’s holiday, Kishore and his wife and children went to the Ongc office in the village of Vakalapudi in Kakinada Rural Mandal to celebrate the festival with his colleagues.
A few minutes after he got there, he told his wife that he would take the kids to the tailor to sew a new school uniform. He left her in the office and went out with the kids.
When they didn’t return for a long time, she repeatedly called her husband, but he didn’t respond.
After a while, Kishore sent a message saying he would be back in 10 minutes. But he didn’t come back.
A worried Tanuja went to their house with one of his colleagues and found the door closed from inside.
Even after a loud knock and the phone call, there was no response inside, Kishore’s colleagues called some locals and opened the door.
When Kishore was found hanging on the ceiling fan in one of the rooms, Joshith and Nikhil were found dead in the bathroom.
Their hands and legs were tied together and their heads were poured into buckets filled with water.
“How the six and seven-year-olds in UKG and Level 1 will show up in the real world. We are not sure what their father thinks. “There may be other reasons that have brought Kishar into this extreme step,” a police officer said on Saturday. ”
“We know that the kids recently joined a new school and they’re not responding to change well and we’re investigating all angles.”
Police are questioning Kishore’s wife and seeking information about relatives living in the same area.
