
A man caught fire in Times Square in a frightening attack on Sunday, March 16, which burned his face.
The video at the scene showed the moment immediately after the attack on the 45-year-old man.
When authorities put him in an ambulance after the fire was put out, the victim was seen in pain and covered by burns.

Dozens of first responders can be seen in the clips around as the victim stands on the sidewalk, nakedly covered with blue blankets.
The video also showed police talking to an apparent companion of a victim wearing a short skirt and high heels.
According to police, the New York Police Department responded to reports of a fire on W. 41 and Seventh Avenue before 4 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities said they believed he was caught on fire but did not immediately name the perpetrator.

The NYPD could not say whether the attack was targeted or random.
Police said EMS brought the man to New York Presbyterian Cornell and he was in a stable condition.
No arrests. Police investigation is underway.
