TUC supports Lagos Corper in threats to criticize Tinubu for its economic hardship.
Nigeria News Nalin The report said the union congress supported a member of the Lagos-based National Youth Service Corps, also known as Raye, who claimed to be threatened for criticizing President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

However, the TUC boss advises critics to always criticize the government with expected norms and a degree of etiquette.
He said: “They (government) have to develop this resilience to understand that people are frustrated, hungry, people are tired. So if they decide to vent, I firmly believe that the government should not personalize it and follow these people.
“Imagine a young lady performing New York City functions, what does she really need to do to beat the government? So she has aired personal frustration.
“So I think the government has to persevere, they have to be more tolerant, they have to have this deep patience with Nigerians because people are going through a lot today.”
Raye, a member of the Legion who served in Lagos, recently made headlines after a video criticizing government policies spread.
She later claimed to be threatened by New York state officials, forcing her to knock down the video.
In a video posted on her Tiktok account #TalkToraye on Saturday, Raye was frustrated by Nigeria’s deteriorating economic situation, which made hard work no longer guarantee financial stability.
She criticized Tinubu’s leadership, calling him a “terrible leader” and questioned the government’s commitment to relaxing citizens’ suffering.
However, NYSC has not issued an official statement on the issue.
