    Ogun State Govt rescues 4-year-old boy Brut@Lly Ass@ultter by his father

    The Ogun State Government rescued a 4-year-old boy who was allegedly Brut@lly ass@ul in the OTA local government area of ​​the state.

    National Commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye revealed this in a statement on Monday, March 17, 2025, saying the rescue is part of the government’s commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals.

    “According to reports about individuals, our officials rescued a four-year-old boy (name) in the Igboko, Ado Odo/Ota local government area who were brutally beaten by their father,” the statement said.

    “The child has since been placed in protective detention from the ministry and he is receiving full medical and emotional support.

    “At the same time, the perpetrators are allegedly in police custody and have made all necessary legal arrangements to ensure justice.

    “Currently, the child is stable, responds well to medical treatment and further testing and evaluations are conducted to ensure he is fully recovered.

    “We urge the public to remain vigilant and quickly report any cases of child abuse, domestic violence and other forms of human abuse.

    “We reiterate that the Dapo Abiodun Prince LED-Government will continue to maintain zero tolerance for gender-based violence, child abuse and other forms of domestic abuse.

    “In this regard, the public is urged to use the telephone-free emergency parts (08000000666 and 0800000555) to report cases anonymously and intervene immediately.
