    • The IJAW National Congress (INC) praised the Ilya people for avoiding the carefully planned crisis by former River Governor Nyesom Wike and his federal allies.

    • The company’s chairman praised Abalama’s peaceful protests and the cancellation of the meeting in Iya Youth Committee to prevent confrontation.

The IJAW National Congress (Inc) (INC) expressed gratitude to the people of Ilya for avoiding the crisis allegedly orchestrated by former Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike and his federal allies.

According to INC President Professor Benjamin Okaba, the plan aims to put the Iya community in crisis, which justifies the emergency rules in Rivers State.

Okaba praised Abalama’s women for peaceful protesting what he called “a well-planned show of shame”, with only Wike’s loyalists and rented crowds outside Ijaw’s land.

He also praised the Iya Youth Committee (IYC) in the eastern region for canceling their proposed meeting in Abalama in response to the suggestions of Elder Iya and the leaders of public opinion.

Furthermore, Okaba acknowledged that the great wisdom of King Asari Dokubo was to withdraw his surveillance personnel from the emouha-kalabari road to prevent inaction and bloodshed.

The company’s president thanked those in the country of Wike and colleagues for protesting peaceful protests in Ilia to insult the sensitivity of the people of Ijaw.

Okaba warned of a broader political plan for Nigerian democracy. “We call on Nigerians to oppose democratic enemies, a group of people who seize and retain power at all costs,” he said.

The company’s leaders accuse strong numbers in Abuja support Wick’s so-called conspiracy to stabilize the River State as part of a grand plan for political domination after 2027.

“This is not about the River State or the Ilyans. This is a perfect example of a class struggle between a few but powerful political and economic conquerors and the powerless masses.”

“This is a carefully planned plan by the Abuja Group, with President Tinob, the National Assembly and the judiciary silently supporting the godfathers and state captives of Nigeria, all of which remain inappropriate after 2027.”

Okaba raised concerns about the future impact of such political exercises, questioning: “Today is Iyas and the River State, who knows who and where their next target is?” According to him, those who attempt to evacuate Governor Siminalayi Fubara resorted to inciting violence to prove the imposition of a state of emergency.

Okaba wondered: “They must be in their own evil crisis to Governor Fubara of Este, who has tried many times to cause violence, hoping to execute a “state of emergency” and operate the River State from the numerous kitchens of the villa.”

While urging continued restraint, Gamba hints about future confrontation, without real efforts and urgently stopping this madness.

“We therefore thank our people for their patience and encourage all to continue to maintain peace, as time has not yet come and his Abuja supporters have not yet come.”

PAP: Ijaw Publishers’ forum pays tribute to Dr. Dennis Otuaro for transformational reform

The IJAW Publishers Forum (IPF) praised Dr. Dennis Otuaro, administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP).

Dr. Otuaro’s government has restored important programs, including foreign scholarships, marine training programs, vocational training and empowerment programs, and interacted with stakeholders through a wide range of conferences.
