
Delta State Police Command arrested a suspect kidnapper after collecting ransom before releasing the female victim.
The headquarters spokesman SP Bright Edafe revealed this in a statement on Monday, March 17, 2025, saying the suspect identified as Abdulahi Isah was arrested five days after he kidnapped the woman in the Ibusa community in the state.
“On December 3, 201025, in about 1100 hours, the indigenous (named) of Ibusa at the Ibusa Police Department reported that his friend’s wife was kidnapped on 7/3/2025, and received a ransom, and he was the person who delivered the ransom and other foods to the kidnappers,” the statement read. ”
“Based on the useful information provided by the man, the DPO IBUSA Police Department quickly mobilized the patrol of the Ibusa Division to attack the bushes where the suspect Abdulahi Isah was arrested, along with Vigilantes.
“The suspect is in custody and the investigation is underway.”
