Dangote Group Chairman Aliko Dangote accused Governor Ogun Senator Ibikunle Amosun of demolishing his cement plant twice during his administration. Dangote made this request at a meeting with current Governor Dapo Abiodun on Monday, March 17, 2025.
According to a statement from the Ogun State Government, the meeting between Dangerte and Governor Abioden is committed to expanding investment opportunities in manufacturing, oil and gas and energy within the state. However, a video surfaced on social media showed Dangote discussing his experience with the Amoso government, saying his cement plant was demolished twice during construction.
Dangert said: “I think it’s a good fit to record the factory we are visiting now in Itori, and that’s because his Excellency is back. The factory was demolished twice. We started building, and then Amosun removed it, and the second time we started, we started again, and he not only removed the factory including the fence, so we left. But now, our brother Prince Dapo Abiodun is back now, and we are back now. You’ll be very surprised when we go there.”
