Lagos PDP attacks Jandor to return to APC.

Nigeria News Nalin The report said that after he returned to rule all the progressive assembly, the Lagos State branch of the People’s Democratic Party mocked Dr. Abdul-azeez Adediran, known as Jandor.

Adediran, a candidate for Lagos’ PDP gubernatorial in the 2023 election, announced his return to APC at a press conference in Lagos on Monday.

Lagos 4lagos movement leader Adediran announced his resignation from the PDP on March 3, 2025, citing the party’s lack of discipline and leader betrayal.

Before joining the PDP, he was a member of the APC.

In an interview with correspondents on Monday, he responded to his defection, and the PDP vice-chairman of Lagos, based in Tai Benedict, said Jandor was never “our own” and that APCs allegedly implanted with stability in PDP.

“He never had our own party to destroy our party.

“Even though he denied that, I got the defense, it was a guy who attended the party and the first thing he did was to start blaming the leaders, and what he did was to mess up a unified party to the national level until he got our party from behind.

“You know, it’s very unfortunate, we’ve never been so bad.

“He came because he (Akindele) has over 3 million followers on Instagram, he said what he said.

“For me, he left our party, it was not a good thing, and I agree it was bad.

Meanwhile, the state’s APC welcomes Jandor, describing him as a vibrant young man who only tracks his roots.

Seye Oladejo, the party’s propaganda secretary, said in an interview with Boxing on Monday that APC is preparing to work with Jandor.

“Like all politicians, Jandor was partisan at the time,” Oderjo said.

“So now that he’s back, we’re happy to work with him.

“We believe that our party, like many others, has enough opportunity to contribute his quota to the growth of our government and party.”

He said the party is expecting more politicians to fall into the APC.

“In the days to come, we hope to train more with the next election.”

Oladejo dismissed the PDP claim that APC implanted Jandor and undermined the opposition, saying: “This shows how powerless this so-called opposition is.”

“We are talking about a political party that is permanent in a crisis.

“They are just looking for excuses to justify their incompetence and they cannot mobilize any support for election victory.”
