
The Federal Capital Territory Minister NYESOM WIKE has revoked the land title of 4,000, 794 property owners for more than a decade in ten regions of the country.
Senior Special Assistant to FCT Public Communications and Social Media Minister Lere Olayinka disclosed when she introduced her to reporters at the FCT government headquarters in Abuja.
Lere explains that over 6 billion Naira is attributed to the FCTA, three thousand, three and seventy-five property owners have not paid the ground rent yet.
He also announced that more than 3,500 landowners have extended grace periods to cover outstanding debts or revocation risks.
Affected areas include the Central Business District, Garki 1 and 2, Wuse 1 and 2, Maitama, Asokoro and Guzape.
