

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has sent a message to the Super Hawks ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
In a statement sent to players, the NFF emphasized the importance of having any matches that qualify for the World Cup. According to a report from the NFF Executive Committee meeting, the board confirmed that the Super Eagles were sued to ensure they scored six points from both games.
The Executive Committee accused the players of going all out in two matches to improve Nigeria’s qualifying hope. It also calls on all Nigerians to support and encourage the team with any just and appropriate capacity to ensure the victory of the two matches. ”
“The Super Eagles will face Amavubi of Rwanda on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, followed by a family clash with the Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in UYO on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.”
The Super Hawks are currently ranked fifth in Group C, with three points in four games.
