    35-year-old man assaulted five-year-old for sexu@lly

    Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old man identified as Abdullaziz Mohammed, allegedly D# filed a 5-year-old minor in the local government area in Moby North.

    The commander’s public relations officer SP Sulieman Yahaya Nguroje said in a press statement that the suspect’s complaint filed at the victim’s father was filed at the North Department of Moube Police Headquarters. According to Nguroje, the victim’s father said that on March 27, 2025, the suspect brought his daughter to a grinding engine store in Kasuwan Borkono, north of Mubi, having illegal physical knowledge about her and fully knowing that she is a minor.

    Nguroje noted that after receiving the report, police CP Dankombo Morris, a commissioner of PSC (+), deployed the police agents of Mubis, took immediate action and the suspect was arrested. The victim was immediately sent to Mooby’s medical facility for physical examination and treatment.

    Nguroje mentioned that during the trial, the suspect admitted to committing a crime and was detaining more discoveries.

    Police Chief Morris Dankombo strongly condemned the bill and directed the case to transfer the case to Yola’s State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), where a thorough and diligent investigation was conducted to ensure service to justice.
