FCT Police Command has confirmed a devastating motor vehicle accident ahead of Nyanya Bridge on Wednesday, March 19, killing six D3ADs and 14 cars.

The Karu branch reported that an order in a statement signed by its spokesman SP Josephine Adeh said a tow truck filled with cement had lost control from Aya’s Nyanya Bridge, which was trapped in traffic.

Adeh mentioned that this influence swallowed 14 cars in the violent hell.

For safety reasons, bystanders and motorists follow closely. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, fighting the smoke and strong heat to save the trapped ones. Six victims were evacuated from the wreckage and rushed to the hospital, but sadly they were confirmed dead by medical staff on duty. Their bodies have been stored in the morgue of Karu General Hospital. ”She said

Adeh said police agents worked with firefighters, other security agencies and brave people on the scene, including hell, and normal traffic flow was restored.

“FCT Police Command expressed its deepest condolences to the victim’s families and ensured that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the cause of the disaster and prevent future occurrences. The public is strongly urged to act cautiously when driving and adhere to speed limits, especially in high traffic areas. Safe driving habits can prevent such tragedies and save lives.

Residents are also encouraged to remain vigilant and to report emergency or suspicious activities through the FCT order: 08032003913, 0802894083, 07057337653. Complaint response unit: 08107314192.
