Police forces in Edo State have launched a pursuit for a man who murdered two people.
The incident reportedly led to the impending husband’s bride killing his pregnant bride, while her 6-year-old daughter had only seven days of wedding.
This happened on March 23, 2025 on Idiagbonya Street in the Ovbiogie community on the Benin-Lagos Expressway.
Neighbors identified the deceased as Osasu aimienoho lsaac, and her six-year-old daughter was also killed, Aleluya Uwuigbe.
The possible husband is from the IMO State wealth NNAMDI.
The pair had a fierce argument on Sunday, March 23, 2025, and the neighbors did not intervene because the couple is known for their ongoing disagreement, according to a source who is to be anonymous.
However, it quickly escalates and fatally escalates when the groom murders his pregnant bride and young girl.
After the crime, the man locked the two dead in the room and fled to an unknown destination.

“The smell from the room attracted the neighbors who called the police later.
“The police then forced the door to open and took the pregnant woman and her daughter to the morgue,” he said.
However, the families of the deceased demanded justice as they called on the police force.
Moses Yamu said in contact with public relations officials at the Edo State Police Department that police had begun an investigation into the case.
