To continue the crazy military efforts to thwart activities of non-state actors, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) neutralized the infamous robbers and an armed robber in the Plateau State.
Operation Safe Haven, a media information officer for Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, revealed this in a statement Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
“The bandits were eliminated on March 24, 2025, following a strong purge of troops carried out by Kampani Zurak of the Vasa Local Government Area (LGA) in the state,” the statement said.
“Bandit is a member of Auta-led Banditry Syndicate, who has been operating in the Wase General area and Taraba State until he was neutralized.
“In addition, on March 24, 2025, the troops received a distress call about an ongoing armed robbery on Bokkos-Richa Road in Bokkos LGA, Plateau State.
“The forces that were mobilized to the area were contacted and the criminals were flooded with high firepower, one of which was neutralized and the other armed robbers fled.
