TD Jakes Bishop TD reveals the cause of a major health incident after his medical panic on stage

Celebrity pastor TD Jakes revealed that the life-threatening medical emergency he suffered last year was a heart attack.

He shared this in an exclusive interview today.

Jakes, 67, preached at the Porter house on November 23, 2024, when he experienced an emergency.

The current video shows Jacks pausing the stage and shaking after lowering the microphone. Church officials then rushed to the stage to help him before the video editing.

“I didn’t realize it was because I had no symptoms,” Jacks told Craig about the heart attack. “No numbness, no severe pain, nothing. I just kind of leaned to sleep. I don’t know what that was, but I almost died.

He continued, “(Doctor) said five minutes later, I’m dead.” “The blood completely stopped on the right side of my heart.”

Jacks kept standing on the stage to preach, then sat in a chair and experienced a heart attack.

“As long as I preach, I feel good,” he said. “But when I sit down, the adrenaline falls off, which reveals the fact that I have half the insight in the clot. They have to go get it.”

The pastor also shared what he saw at that moment.

“I’m having a hard time watching that video,” he said. “They had to grab the microphone from my hands. But in my opinion, I was in a quiet, peaceful, quiet, white and well-developed space.

“I’m out,” he continued. “In retrospect, it was an honor to stand on the other side, to have a little understanding, or at least what it was like to me at that moment. I think it was absolutely amazing.”

He also thanked him for the prayers he received from the congregation and people around the world.

“When they prayed, the surgeon was in the surgery when I was awake,” he said. “They never let me fall asleep. The technology is great.”
