The gunman is believed to have affiliation with the Rakawa terrorist group and has killed two officers from the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) with a border community located in the Argungu local government area of Kebbi State.
The public relations officer of the Kebi State Police Department confirmed the incident in a statement issued Wednesday, SP Naafu Abubakar.
He noted that the attack occurred on Tuesday, but the exact unit or formation to which the late customs officer belonged has not been determined.
