American rapper Sexyy Red has been indicted on social media for allegedly asking her fans to attack Nicole Barnes, the grandmother of one of her children.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the lawsuit filed Monday noted that the “U My My Everything” rapper (born Janae Wherry) allegedly asked social media users to “kick to Barnes’ home” while “violent” against her.
Barnes claimed in the lawsuit that in December 2024, she discovered that Red, 26, allegedly shared her address and photos of her home on Facebook.
The host allegedly “get sexy” was asked by people to physically attack Barnes.
“For whatever reason, Sexxy Red and her little dad have nothing to do with my client,” Barnes’ attorney Steven Weaver told the media on Tuesday.
He added: “We did try to solve it informally, and her lawyers thought it was a joke. Now they find out that it is not.”
Weaver said his client filed a police report when Red was suspected of his position and he had to move out of Missouri for safety reasons.
Barnes claimed in the lawsuit that she could not find a new home for comparable prices. As she is constantly living in fear now, she claims she will be treated for emotional distress.
Barnes demanded a court ruling of $5 million in compensation.
The host of “Skeeyee” is a mother of two children, a son, born in 2020 and a daughter, who was born in February 2024.
Meanwhile, the father of her children knew nothing about it.
