FRSC to seized vehicles that move animals with humans

The Federal Road Safety Force (FRSC) Ondo State Command said it would detain any articulated vehicles that carry animals with passengers in the state.

State FRSC Division Commander Dr. Samuel Ibitoye announced to news reporters on Wednesday, March 26 after meeting with the Endo State Capitol in Akure.

He said that for road safety, all abnormalities associated with articulated vehicles in the state will be resolved.

He said the advocacy for the driver’s activities related to the law enforcement officers.

Dr. Ibitoye said: “Law enforcement is underway to address the “mixed load” of humans and cargo/animal mixtures.

“We did not take it for granted; we would arrest and capture vehicles for this kind of conduct.

“We are working with stakeholders to ensure drivers are warned and block the bill.

“When a crash occurs, you think it’s only involved with the driver of his motorcycle boy, but surprisingly, you’ll see over 10 people in the car, cow.

“So we will continue to advocate and enforce the law; anyone caught will seize his vehicle and will be approved accordingly.”
