    • The infamous Lakurawa terrorist group launched an attack in Kebbi state, killing three people in the process.

    • Two customs officials and a local resident are said to have been killed in a rebellious attack.

Lakurawa, one of the country’s most feared terrorist groups, killed three people at Kebbi State.

The group reportedly killed two Nigerian customs officers and local residents.

This happened in Bachaka, where the relaxed community of Algugu local government is Kebi State University.

Kebbi State PPRO SP NAFIU ABUBAKAR confirmed the attack on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, saying the attack took place on Tuesday, March 25.

“Yes, there was an attack that resulted in the killing of two unidentified customs officers and a village of Bachaka,” he said.

The incident was confirmed by Kebbi State Police Chief Sani Bello, who said the attack was an act of revenge, and Kebbi’s security forces killed two Lakulava terrorists just 24 hours ago.
