Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky claims Vladimir Putin will soon’, but unconfirmed reports say Russian leaders are fighting poor health.
Zelensky filed a claim in a sit-down interview with reporters in Paris after meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday.
“He (Putin) will soon become a fact, it’s a fact, and it’s going to end,” he said.
Putin has long faced rumors that he suffered from health problems.
In recent years, the 72-year-old has appeared to have swollen face, twitching legs and bloody eyes only further exacerbated speculation.
In 2022, a particularly famous incident led the president to hold the table and lurch his words while meeting with then-Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
It also claimed that he may have cancer and Parkinson’s disease, including reports of his constant coughing and his cumbersome movements in his hands and feet.
In last night’s interview, Zelensky also claimed that Putin was trying to “hit the EU from within”, referring to more friendly members of Russians like Hungary.
