If you are scrutinizing dry, dry winter skin and fine lines and wrinkles, you are not alone. According to Allergan, Inc. A recent national survey found that about 60% of women aged 21 to 65 said they would rather have a young face than a young body.

However, experts say it’s time to forget about expensive face creams and procedures. The key to graceful aging is simple: eat a healthy diet.

The top 9 foods to resist wrinkles (anti-aging diet)

Here, find out what foods to avoid and what to add to the plate to make the skin beautiful and young.

    1. Cut out inflammatory foods

“The food that produces inflammation is making up,” said Frank Lipman, an integrated and functional medicine physician and author of the “New Health Rules.” Knicks process, packaging and fast food, as well as gluten, dairy and sugar.

“Eating too much sugar will make you wrinkle more prone and make you older faster,” he said.

    2. Omega Fatty Acids

Keeping your skin well from the inside out is one of the best ways to prevent dryness and wrinkles in your skin. Omega fatty acids -3, -6 and -9 found in healthy fats and oils are crucial because they become part of the skin cell wall.

“If the skin cell walls are plump and healthy, the skin will also look more hydrated and dewy,” said Paula Simpson, formula specialist and cosmetic nutritionist at Nutricosmetics.

Salmon, walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, coconut oil, olive oil and avocado are all good choices.

    3. Amino acids

Another reason for wrinkles is the decay of collagen and elastin in the skin as you age. Amino acids found in protein sources can help rebuild and repair damage. Meat, fish, eggs, tofu, some cereals, nuts and seeds are all excellent sources.

    4. Green leafy vegetables

Broccoli, kale, spinach and mustard greens will keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Green juice is also an easy way to help absorb nutrients faster.

“It’s like liquid multiviminine is filled with antioxidants,” Lipman said, ensuring that the added sugar and fruits are limited with high blood sugar load.

    5. Plant amide

“As you get older, the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) weakens and weakens, leaving it vulnerable to dehydration and wrinkles,” Simpson said.
More importantly, the production of ceramide (which causes the skin to start slowing down). Plant amides found in wheat germ, plant ceramides found in brown rice, spinach and beets, can help protect the outer layer of the skin.

    6. Antioxidants

Too much in the sun is the main cause of aging. The sun produces free radicals that can permanently kill healthy skin cells. However, the sun is not the culprit that unhealthy diet can do the same. Packed on a variety of brightly colored antioxidants rich in foods that contain carotenoids such as tomatoes, carrots, kale and pumpkin that protect the skin and reverse some of the damage.

    7. Foods rich in potassium

If you have dark circles under your eyes, that may be genetic, but it can also be caused by water-retaining or sodium-rich foods. Many fruits and vegetables, as well as potatoes, nuts, beans, beans, meat, poultry and fish are rich in potassium, which can offset sodium. Plus, reducing your salt intake is a wise choice for your skin and overall health.

    8. Rooibos Tea

The rich polyphenols help protect the skin from premature aging, and Rooibos tea moisturizes the skin and is a coffee alternative that can dehydrate your skin.

    9. Fermented food

Lipman says probiotics regulate digestion and put good bacteria back into the intestines, which can also help the skin look healthy. Pickled cabbage, kimchi, kefir and fermented vegetables are all rich in probiotics.
