Trump intimidates students to silence people who disagree – Congresswoman Ms. Congress Pressley
Pressley made this claim in an article on X, where she issued a strong defense of Turkish graduate student Rumeysa Ozturk.
Ozturk is detained by immigration authorities in Massachusetts for advocating Palestinian rights
She was driven away by plainclothes and masked agents on the street.
Pressley describes the incident as the incident captured in the video as “kidnapping”.
Several international students, including Ozturk, were arrested and revoked for radicalism over Israel’s war on Gaza.
This administration is intimidating students to silently dissent because that is what the dictator does.
“This is the only reason she was kidnapped is because she holds a different political view, unlike Donald Trump’s. That’s it.
“For those who care about freedom of speech and our democracy, this should be a five-warning fire – without your party, ideology or perceptions of Israel, Palestine or any other issue,” Pressley wrote in a social media post.
