Adetoun, an activist, shared a video showing the moment she faces a woman, her 11-year-old daughter joins her sweeping the floor at 4:30 a.m. every day.
The woman was employed by the estate manager to sweep. But today is a public holiday, and the woman comes in with her daughter, who joins her.
Adetoun, who lives in the estate, saw them and raised his mother. Her dissatisfaction with the woman said she had her daughter join her at 4.30 in the morning to sweep the tragedy.
According to Adetoun, doing 11-year-old jobs is intolerable for child labour.
“You would not bring an 11-year-old girl in child labor at 4.30-5am at the earliest. I won’t listen to your plight. Never take this girl out. ”
She threatened that if mom sees her estate again, the girl will be taken away from mom.
Adetoun’s video received different reactions from Nigerians. Although some praised her for finding her children, others believed that her behavior was condescending and that she humiliated her mother in front of her children.
