The Nigerian Navy said that its front-run operation base personnel Ibaka arrested three suspected drug vendors in Akwa Ibom state.
The Navy revealed in a statement that the suspect was arrested on Saturday, March 29, 2025 for possessing Indian marijuana in the MBO local government area of the state.
The suspect has been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
“On March 29, 2025, Ibaka arrested three suspicious drug vendors and possessed a large amount of Indian marijuana in the MBO LGA of Akwa Ibom State,” the statement said.
“The suspect was detained and will be handed over to the relevant authorities.”
